Well, Ya’ll…..Here’s another FAVORITE holiday of mine! I love the
4TH OF JULY!!
This holiday means so many different things!
It reminds me of just how great a land we live in. Even though our
economy ain’t the greatest right now, we still live in the bestest country
EVER!
I love to go to a good Redneck BBQ on the 4th. With all the fixins’, not
just food of course, but swimmin’ in the pond or pool or just whatever we
can find to use for a swimmin’ pool.
Like the time my Dad rigged up his old pick up! It was great!

Just make sure to use some sunscreen so ya don’t end up with a redneck
tan!

And if ya live in an area where the weather still gets a little cool in the
evening…..we have an idea from a fellow Redneck that seems to work
pretty good. Ya just need a BBQ grill, some propane, and well, ya can
check out the picture for the rest. He says it works great!
He made a large heater coil out of 180 feet of copper tubing that connects
to the pool pump using a garden hose. The hose runs from the pump
through the grill heater coils and then into the pool.

Now, ya can also pull out the grill and cook up some finger lickin’ good
BBQ! Every Redneck loves good BBQ! But, sometimes it’s what the
grill looks like that makes the food taste so good!
I was lookin’ for some Redneck grills and here’s what I found:
This one was built by Tim Kowalec. It’s a HEMI-powered BBQ grill he
made for Chrysler’s "What Can You HEMI?" contest in 2005. Tim’s
"manly man’s barbecue grill" featured a 5.7-liter V-8 HEMI engine, and
can cook 240 hot dogs in 3 minutes!
Good Job Tim!

Here’s another interesting grill……Ya could have ALL the family and
friends over this bad boy!
David Klose built this transportable smoker called Texas Lil’s Monster
Smoker.
The smoker is 57 ft. in length and 60" in diameter. It has 90,000 sq. in.
cooking surface and weighs 25,000 lbs.

Certainly worthy of Redneck Royalty status!
And here’s another one that is just a Redneck’s dream!

This bad boy measures 6 foot 11inches and was built by Joe Wood of
Weimar, Texas:
The barrel is 10 feet long and 8 inches in diameter, and the entire rig is
over 15 feet long. The pistol’s grips, which cover the firebox, are made of
red oak. When cooking, the barrel acts as the grill’s chimney. It took over
two years and 1,100 hours to complete, and used more than two tons of
red oak, stainless, and carbon steel.

So, invite the family over

And celebrate our Great Country’s Birthday in style and while your at
it……Give THANKS for all our men and women overseas making it
another great FREE 4th of July!
Here’s a poem I wrote just for our men and women defending our
freedom so we can BBQ, swim and enjoy fireworks this year!
4th of July
It’s the 4th of July
That sometimes brings a tear to my eye
I keep thinking that I didn’t have to die
for my freedom
BUT someone did!
They were brave
So old glory could still wave
Over this beautiful land!
So crank up the band
and make sure you stand
For the Red, White and Blue
And for all those tried and true
soldiers who fight for you!
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

We’d also like to send a special Thanks out to one of our very own here
at Redneck Community.
ryanD is in Iraq defending our country! So stop by his profile and let him
know we support his efforts at keepin’ us Rednecks safe here at home in
the
GREAT OLE USA!!
